Also, her abuse is nowhere near as graphic as Louise's. Yet they get nowhere near as much flak. What's with that? Is Claire just the more obvious target because he lives with her?
I mean, Louise's various punishments include making sure Saito didn't get any food and beating Saito with a horsewhip because he looked at another girl. He was treated like a convenient slave in the beginning, which he essentially was.
