LOGH is one of the best scifi series i ever seen and the politic and intrgue is also best in anime i have seen. but in terms of space warfare, it comes up a bit short on realism. Mainly the battles ignore that space is 3d and not play on a chess board. We never seen a fleet try to come out on top of another or below another fleet.
I concur that Crest/Banner has the most realistic of the space of the battles in anime.
