It might not be the best suggestion but maybe take the top favorites from Japan and put them in a poll. It's not going to include everyone and it's going to leave some important characters out (and might include some less important ones) but it might be fun to see how our votes compare to Japan. There was a poll in the last issue of Gangan so I can get the names if you want to do it this way.
