I might have mixed up one or two of these (especially Blitz/Aegis since they never actually showed the plate numbers for those due to the fact that these numbers only started appearing halfway through the series, after those two were destroyed), but the rest should be correct.

We discussed the Destiny plate numbers in another topic before... But I guess they reset them for that too (though since Impulse is "sei" in Destiny, maybe there's one more Gundam in that show?)
No, you're correct on Aegis and Blitz. The numbers are failry obviously connected to the EA's code names for the weapons. Remember that Earth originally called these suits G weapons. If you watch during the raid on Heliopolis, you notice that the trailers moving Duel, Buster, and Blitz are marked G-1, G-2, and G-3. We were told that Strike was G-5, so that makes Aegis G-4. Since Calamity, Forbidden, and Raider were also made by the Earth Alliance, it stands to reason that they would continue the G-# designations. The G-# essentially tells the order of development.
