Basically, the chatroom conversation connects Ch. 2 and 3. Basically Saori was asking why Kyousuke was not being himself when they (Saori and Kuroneko) went to their house (between the story of Ch. 2 and 3). Kirino explain the reason (Event in Ch. 2), with Kuroneko being the one that comes up with the prank (Kirino was on the phone with Kuroneko when Kyousuke ask her to come out of her room to eat). Saori scolded both of them and thus comes up with the idea of throwing a party to cheer Kyousuke up.
