I read eroge habitually and I can tell you that the script in these things are worse than most anime you could find. A stupid obvious harem is exactly what the
intended audience wants. As outsiders, we have to merely accept that about 50,000-100,000 very very strange people in Japan watch this show. It is not a show intended for anyone outside of those handful of people. And even as a production from a bunch of malnutritioned staff and poverty-striken key animators, the pacing of episode 01 was actually pretty good. So for an eroge adaptation, it is already superior. You have to see it all in perspective. It's
not the next Studio 4c or Ghibli.
