I kinda wish Maki was the human heroine, not Kana. Gotta say, I was quite impressed by her acting in c170.

Spoiler for c170:

Sees a bunch of murderous Yokai in front of her and she takes out her little knife in attempt to protect all those girls behind her. It is hopeless, but you gotta respect such bravery and calmness.
