@ Stratos
Spoiler for Here:
Terrestrial Dreamer:
Said to be first true mass production model of I.S., eschewing many of the secondary 'gimmicks' for more practical purposes due to the Treaty acting as restriction, the designer is highly dissatisfied. It features no core, instead, it has integrated computer and power source.
However, in reality, it's relatively poor capability is offset by it's extreme cost effectiveness, four times that of true I.S. And since it's a completely new unit separated from it's predecessor, it's production and deployment are unrestricted by Alaska treaty.
The name referred to their lack of true flight capability, much like Generation 1 I.S.es. Terrestrial Dreamer doesn't have extension around it's limbs, and it's fully enclosed in armor.
Armored Stratos:
TD Unit retrofited with I.S. technology and sub-core system, bridging the expensive novelty that is I.S. and run of the mill T.D., Armored Stratos requires the pilot to be fully synchronized, since each sub-core are unique. Thus, pilot of Armored stratos doesn't necessarily come from the military.
Armored Stratos regained several function present in mainstay I.S. in military service, such as interchangeable weaponry and equipment, and some of them usually posses true flight ability as well.
The name referring to their usual appearance, being fully armored unit much like TDs. Some A.S. unit are designed quite radically and some doesn't look humanoid in the slightest, however such as centaur, tiger, or even giant spider.
Duplica Stratos
Is made by Phantom task, and is near perfect copy of I.S. to a T. Some of them are simply vacant I.S. frame equipped with replicated core. Though the mass produced model usually is a striped down version of the original.
The main merit is that they possess near 100% feature of I.S., in terms of statistic, the mass produced D.S. model is more powerful than TD unit, and somewhat weaker than Armored Stratos in general. D.S. main flaw lies on it's faulty core system, and is estimated to have over 5% fatality rate in the tightest combat scenario.
Fortress
Fortress is not a stand alone unit, it's operation requires I.S. or any of it's derivatives, though most fortress can be remote controlled as well, the function wasn't intended for combat.
Fortress is used to enhance the control unit's battle capabilities in specific field, and come in all shapes and sizes. Some of them are simple backpack attachment, while others can be as large as a medium jet fighter.
