There're 32 volumes for the Japanese version. There was an ad for 32 in last weeks ' Weekly Shonen Jump magazine.
So far I'm sticking with the Japanese version for Naruto ^^'
I buy them from www.amazon.co.jp (first 10 volumes) and it's cheaper than ordering them at the local manga stores >_>
