China is not going to let Hong Kong go full Democracy any time soon IMO. It's rather risky (Especially in highly unlikely case of them wanting independence!) China, after all wants to have some form of control in Hong Kong (Dominating is of course the best for them) or else they risk letting Hong Kong's economy to leave the mainland.
I hope that they gain something close to it; but I'm sure many Hong Kongers (Myself included) realize that China will still be a major part in the Hong Kong government for a good while.
