Nah you can use the changes even if you're not the host. But if you're the host, then the changes are applied to all players who joined your game and it might ruin their configurations.
Captain Commando.. This is FPS with RPG Elements, not a RPG like Dragon Age. Why the hell would anyone want to play FPS game on a console unless they had no choice ?
