The OST of Noir, .Hack//SIGN (not DUSK) and Madlax are all created by the great Kajiura Yuki-sama. She's the creative half of SeeSaw, and old pop group which just released an album containing mostly anime songs written by Kajiura. I have all her soundtracks from Noir and .Hack (in addition to her solo album and "Dream Field"), and I must say that she's right up there with Kanno Yoko-sama in terms of anime music greatness.
As for Madlax, I won't press judgement on it just yet... there's more than meets the eye with the main character it seemed. It has great potential and I'll be following it. If it does end up like crap, well, at least I have another great OST to buy.
