No. It is done by fans who think that Azunyan will be lonely after all her seniors leave. Either way, They need another character to complete a full 2-by-2 pairing in the keionbu (Yui x Azunyan, Ritsu x Mio, Mugi x Akane).

From what we know, Mugi doesn't seem out of place since she enjoys observing her bandmates through Mugivision™.
