Macbeth but with Haruhi characters would be so much better than the movie version my class watched last year. One of the witches had a southern accent, and
everyone had a mullet. The only theatre version of it that I've seen involved vampires and dance numbers set to eightiesish music out of nowhere.
I also saw that theatre group do A Midsummer Night's Dream. There were aliens everywhere and sometimes Puck alternated between being a gay sailor and an olden-timesy journalist.
At least the book versions were marginally more sane.
