Pretty much everything about this episode has alot of promise for me. Seems like from the cast list they actually had proper American English speakers speaking lines. It'll be intriguing to see how this all plays out, and if the show executes it well.

I believe they did have english speakers doing the english cast.

I didnt like how they put japanese and english together as if all the americans knew both languages, that was a tiny bit odd. Nothing i cant look past though.

Spoiler for Summing up what i think:

From the first episode, it is obvious to me that he is government/army related. I am torn between secret agent, or perhaps even some kind of governmental test subject. They did call him "no. 49" after all.
