What I think why Oreimo was one of the best Brocon/Siscon is that there is actually a "line" between them.. It's not awkward for some conservative viewers to see interactions between siblings.
Compared it with Onii-chan and Sora animes whether one or both are actually trying if not already crossed the line that's why some viewers just quit the series because they can't stomach it any longer...
