Some really great romance manga:
Nozoki Ana (this one is being adapted into an anime soon)
Haru yo Koi
Forget ecchi, both of these are almost hentai manga, but in a good/realistic, not a silly way (both are kind of sad).
Also one that is more ecchi/comedy than romance:
Mangaka-San to Assistant-San to (also being adapted soon, IMO the funniest running manga)
