The show has 14 episodes, if I remember...
Well, I personally think, that Haruhi was well-done, but it wasnīt a great anime in the fashion the Mona Lisa is a great painting. It was more like a very funny sitcom... with espers... and time travelers... and magicans from outerspace... And God as 16 years old highschool girl, whoīs everything else than omniscient.
But by comparison with other animes, this even doesnīt sound so strange...
Of course, R+V doesnīt reinvent the wheel with the story, but this isnīt necessary! Itīs the same thing like "Black Cat".
As long as the characters are sympathic or interesting, story comes second.
