You can play the game without translations - you need to be a complete idiot not to be able to figure out the basic controls and mechanics.
76 Keys is the first roadblock in the game with the utterly complex noteswitch on hard which took me quite some time to master (makes you wonder why Mugi is so good with her fingers!). The next one is Mezase Happy 100% (Ritsu's image song) - the drums are bloody damn messy.
Most of Yui's songs are pushovers, with the first surprise being Guitar Kubitatte. I swear the opening instrumental before she gives the "Hoo!" had my fingers tied up on my first try. Let's Go!'s drums are pretty hard too.
Spoiler for Actually it is interesting to note two things ::
1. You play the bass with the arrow controls instead of the action pad - a reminder that Mio is a southpaw.
Does this mean that her left boob may be bigger than her rig- *IS SHOT*.
2. Azunyan's Watashi Michi included a pair of CAT EARS lighting in the stage background.
Pretty fun game. Wished they included Sawako's Maddy Candy.
