Because Landers have a limited stock of things, and raw materials tend to get bought up en-masse by the merchant guilds, which results in people going out and farming. We've seen this happen in detail over the past ten episodes.

What I mean is that it's really not worth spoilering since it's neither additional information the anime will never cover in the first place nor information that reveals any plot points.
