About the last part of the episode:
1. Louise gets brainwashed... and
almost right away, she snaps out of it... Almost makes the whole event seem pointless, except as a device for a kiss...
2. The kissing. While it feels partly as a touching (?) scene, it somewhat feels like Saito is getting out of everything with a kiss... Just a few moments ago, he was kissing Henrietta...
I wonder if the message is "Women are easy" or something...
3. Complete moodbreaker... Louise suddenly starts making a tantrum (her specialty), and turns the scene comedic.
4. Colbert's "revival". I wonder how they plan to explain this. The novel had an explanation that worked, but in the anime, in season 2, the events were different, so the original explanation won't really make sense...
They could make up a new explanation, but I question the anime's IQ...
On the other hand, the whole Sleipnier's Ball was well done... except the part with Tiffania becoming Saito+big breasts, which was an unneeded breast joke...
It was pretty funny, seeing what everyone became (Malicorne was freaky...), especially Osmond.
And a serious development where Louise sees Saito kissing Henrietta. Without the novel's explanation of what Saito is thinking, he really seems wrong here... (-_-)
And now Tabitha is attacking Saito...
I know she has her reasons, but I did find her annoying this episode, yes. She's cute, but her overall personality never is appealing...
The anime is making Siesta quite a bit darker than she should be... *sigh*
