Everyone who stated a preference wound up choosing the other option. ( We don't know what the auriga from episode 1 wound up doing, though.)

Alti later told Paraietta that perhaps she didn't have to be male to protect the person important to her. Now she's still female, and also still together with that person.

Furoe later said it didn't matter to her which she chose. That was a clue she might choose male. Furof is an interesting character. I think AS is interested by him, too, and thus the new drawing of him and Aaeru. I realized yesterday how striking it was that he was the last of the sibyllae we saw, and the one who led us to the final scene with NeviAer. A big responsibility for the young seiyuu with the harsh voice.

Morinas told Wapo-chan she was going to choose male so she could play with the Simoun with him, but I thought she used the past tense in a way that implied she might have changed her mind.

It's real life though. When you have to say something, rather than just letting it happen, it sometimes shows that there is some doubt about it, and you're speaking to try and firm up a position that's changing. Ne?
