i think he is considering the fact that he only lost too attack on titans character during the time he was ranked 2nd or 3rd in newtype polls. i wouldn't take it to seriously though since AOT is the most hyped anime this year. but super popular? i don't think so, kamijou has a pretty big fanbase but noting that special(hes very popular but not on that level).
