Ok, first off thank you for the help so far I think I've come up with a way to handel the fighting style thanks to you, but there seems to be some miscommunication.

The soul might be nigh impossible to find, but it you can tag it through the magical and Kai, the astral energies, you can follow the train upwards, the breadcrumbs leading to the Cheshire Cat...and don't ask me why it was eating bread, for I frankly don't know. This is the basic idea of my OC. I based him on Xellos from slayers if you don't know the show it is well beyond worth cheeking out any but evolution or revolution. While he could dominate everyone he has limited authorization to interfere with the order of things.
Of course, this would take skill too, and it would still be difficult, but if you could narrow the energy signatures down...it would be easier to find her, no? Ok, I might not have been clear with the problem. The current is not a problem I mean to use it as plot device for Nodoka's self-discovery the fic is centered around her. I'm an idiot for not thinking about this. His pactio. Can't he summon the book too? Perhaps you could use this to find her too, someway. Only a suggestion though. I do intend to use his pactio and the book just not for the current that would have been a good idea.
My main worry is how doubtful should I make the others, and how to get the captives out custody. I thought of simply having them escape on the way by having Chisame mess with their armor, but am unsure if reintroducing Anya so soon would be a mistake.
