There wasn't much lost potential since they did the fate route. If they ever do heaven's feel... it better be damn good.
Prototype had some really interesting ideas. There aren't enough shows that do the "main char is actually fairly badass but hates his/her powers so never uses them" WELL. And I don't mean the "falls unconscious and almost destroys the world" type; they are fully conscious of their power.
