I know a lot of Vol.8 focuses Mikado, Kida and Anri, but most part the novels are usually written from multi-character perspectives. Even more so now since there like 10 new members add to cast.
Man, the anime staff is really going to regret changing Izaya's scene with the suicide girl after looking how important she becomes later in Vol.7 and 11.
