first of all,kanon is just a persona created by yasu so if kanon died he will never leave a corpse,so yasu acted as kanon.in ep7 Will said that "only the actor can kill the character" which means that yasu can kill the kanon persona whenever she wants.
here's how i see what happened.
i believe what happened was after kanon hid in the closet yasu killed the kanon persona then hid under the bed or maybe yasu change from kanon persona to beatrice.
it doesn't violate any red so i think this is right.
