The unintentional comedy potential here is tremendous. I can easily imagine Kyon-ko getting scared senseless when she receives the "love letter" and finds herself face-to-face with a "stern-looking gorilla".

Kyon-ko: *screaming internally*

It also maintains the factor of "she/he became from this to that?!"
