Desktop UI sounds good.

Metro Apps are managed like tablet apps, because they essentially are tablet apps. I think there should be a way of disabling this feature, but I also sort of like it for apps you open and close a lot since keeping it in RAM reduces startup time, and if MS has done it right, it shouldn't really slow down performance since the app is suspended (thus barely using anything but RAM), and can be freed in the background if the RAM is needed.
