Unfortunately, I got into the series after learning about the huge spoiler in Episode 3, and so I was pre-warned about the darkness of the show. But more than that, I found Kyuube
massively creepy throughout all the episodes--the fact that he has an eternal grin painted on his face just makes him even creepier
.
I hope the production crew manage to keep toeing the line between classic Magical Girl fare and this deconstruction eeriness, it's very effective in making this show something very different from the usual.
