I've said it in the past at the Accel World thread, but I'll mention here again: Both Accel World and SAO are good enough novels to be standalone, and do not need cheap plots that forcefully connect the two worlds. As of now even the author himself is unsure whether the two universes should be connected, and stated that currently the two worlds are unrelated to each other. 'Innocent until found guilty' play to put it shortly.
