I'm slowly leaning towards the camp of "hough she's rich and smart, she wants to be with Zenkichi" camp, because there are quite a few signs that she's got feelings for him, not even taking the one-shot into account... if the jealousy with Shiranui didn't say that Medaka likes Zenkichi, then I don't know what does...
