I hope the movies would be a sequel rather than a remake as that it is most reasonable..
Spoiler:
By the end of the series, Mononobe-san was going to seek out the supporter, Selecao IX as that he suspects the individual to possibly be Mr. Outside because of an action Selecao XII requested through Juiz. However, it is known that Mr. Outside would be at least 100 years old and that it wouldn't be possible for him to take part in the ridiculous game of saving Japan with 10 billion yen each. However, to consider how advanced technology was during the time itself.. There is a possibility that Mr. Outside is still alive by utilizing advanced technology to his advantage. More over, there were still this wealthy lady and 2 other guys aside from Mononobe-san and Selecao IX by the end of the series to still have money left on their account. The game most likely haven't come to an end yet. 6 living members and one of them, Selecao XII is the supporter.
Thus, it is only reasonable to assume that the movies will be sequels focusing on these six remaining members of the ridiculous game along with Juiz, as well as their quest to seek the truth of Mr. Outside and the reason behind Noblesse Oblige. None of it has been uncovered yet and it should be. If the movies were to turn out as remakes, then it would be a let down.. Considering that the end of Higashi no Eden was merely a rip-off of the Code Geass R2 ending, I have my doubts as to whether the movies will turn out as good as the start of the series..
