Born Marié Christina Digby in Los Angeles, California to a Japanese mother and an Irish American father in the year 1983, American singer, songwriter, guitarist and pianist Marié Digby has become one of the most followed musicians on YouTube, with
many of her YouTube videos numbering more than a million views each. She achieved fame there covering songs by other music artists, such as Linkin Park, The Game, Rihanna, Beyonce, Maroon 5, James Morrison, Britney Spears, Incubus and Nelly Furtado, as well as performing her own original compositions.
Marié Digby songs have been used on a number of US television shows and movies, the latest being
"Love With a Stranger" on a recent episode of 90210 which aired November 10, 2009 on The CW.
