Though it has been going on for a very long time now and the reasons for both those characters are a bit odd (to me at least) at this point in that case.
I rather hope that here the whole thing doesn't go on for too long with Sugata being the final boss or something. Of course, that may depend on whether everything he is doing is due to brainwashing or not and whether it can be reversed.
