Well, besides the classic "I'm your father", I can guess 3 valid reasons for making a dramatic cut at that point:
- "Your father was an Altair girl that turned into a man."
- "Your father was the culprit who bring out the curse."
- "Your father died because "whatever".
And of course, it still can be:
- "Your father wasn't human" or something like that. "Your father was the Aquarion" could be hilarious.
