Uncertain, since the part where ALO side logs in isn't translated yet. Later parts suggest there was something like 2,000 Japanese players logged in, and the named characters managed to stay logged in from the fight until the end despite the ALO side being defeated.

Kayaba being another copy, not sure. Though PoH and Gabriel are confirmed to be really dead, those two don't have copies made.
