I'm actually on chapter 13 of master ninja right now. Needless to say I love the NG series. After warrior difficulty steps up biggg time. Best weapons against normal enemies are definitely the claws and lunar. The claws are amazing for ninjas with their flying swallow to izuna drop combo. Once you start fighting hordes of incendiary shuriken spamming ninjas you really can't afford to do much else other than izuna drop. The lunar can take out those water strider demons with its jumping izuna drop (claw one doesn't work on them). The lunar is amazing for boss fights with its XXY combo (big damage, fairly quick, good range).

The DS really isn't that great except for a few things which I like to flying swallow spam (demon dogs mainly). I also use it against Genshin for its XYY combo. The scythe is good for a few bosses and its UT is great. I often quick switch to it for an on landing UT when there is essence about.
