We have the FFF an all-male group of inquisitors who don't want their men hooking up with other people because of some antiquated "bro code". Then we have the S4, a group of female inquisitors who don't want their man hooking up with anyone because of admiration. The solution is obvious. The FFF and S4 should start dating each other, and some problems will be solved, and some entirely new ones will be created.

Kawaguchi's great sense of comedic timing shows, mostly through things like musical cues and the speed of the sequences. Kureha interrupting Kinjiro and Subaru's date would be one thing. Interrupting it because she thinks Subaru's a crossdresser and doing so with a slow-motion flying kick? Excellent. (It works better in context.) The date was also a good chance to hear Yuka Iguchi affect a decidedly more Yuka Iguchi-like voice.

Kanade continues to be manipulative, even with a small amount of screentime. We're also introduced to her waitstaff. Amusing side characters there. I have to give Kinjiro credit. It was measuring day, and he was willing to sacrifice his dignity to keep Subaru safe. He might not have needed to, but the gesture can be appreciated. Some of his fantasies make this one of the raunchiest shows Kawaguchi's directed. Never has honey looked so...un-honey like.
