Highly, Highly recommend skip beat. Nakamura sensei is amazing at the characterisations. The first couple of chapters are a little slow, but once you get into it, you seriously get addicted to it... Another manga you could try is Kaichou wa maid sama. You can also try
Kiss by Matsumoto Tomo. That manga's got some dry sense of humour, but the mangaka is generally one of my favs.
