But he is both we all several different sides to us. Yuuji he just embraces the Lazy Yuuji side more than the other which i think is awsome. The super smart knight in shining armor is still part of him. But your right I think on some level he wants Shouko to love both sides of him. You love someone as a whole not in pieces.
