Not the most accurate analogy, but there exist raving fans who crave moe of the To Heart variety, not story. I think they're all carryovers from the first To Heart however, mainly fans of that robot girl character, Multi I think.
Dunno. I was so sure something like 11eyes was going to get it, but never underestimate the otaku's love for imaginary little girls!
PS: I do like both To Heart 2 + AD and somewhat like Naruto. Although the farthest I've read Naruto is some time before the time jump.
