If this manga goes any other route I will be sorely sorely disappointed. This is probably case #3 where my favorite pairing has a chance of happening in all of the manga/anime I've watched in the past 13 years.
Also, I always prefer my favorite pairing to win, but most times I can accept the official winner. ...most times...
