Spoiler for Ep6:
No offense to Aoyama, but thank god Sorata is back on Mashiro duty. It's a job he can handle and one that frankly is better suited to him.
Well that takes care of Aoyama's arc. I'm glad we had the talking tiger thing at the end, really needed some levity to her character after all this seriousness. Problem is she was serious enough before the heavy dose of overworking herself to the point of collapse. Not a lot of surprises from Aoyama herself in this arc. The collapse was expected as was how badly she'd bomb at the voice acting while in that condition. Her body gave out on her, but that's pretty much because she put herself into that condition.
The real surprise came from Mashiro (which probably shouldn't be a surprise
). Instead of being someone who pointed out what Aoyama was doing to herself, she was the supportive element here. The one who realized that Aoyama needed to go even if she was going to fail and stayed by her side throughout the night. Maybe the biggest thing that said was that she gave up on working on her manga for all that time to keep an eye on her. Felt plenty guilty though I don't think she needed to. The only thing she did was make Aoyama jealous enough to show up and take over Mashiro Duty. If she hadn't then Aoyama would have collapsed in the street somewhere by herself.
Well things work out fine for Nanami and Mashiro. Not so positive for Jin and Misaki. How much more is that guy going to keep on making her suffer? Not even going to go to the same school as her to increase the distance?
