A promotional pic showing Soul Gem replicas gave me an idea for a nice parody/riff:

Toyed with Google Sketchup and added a V-22 Osprey model, then combined with the 3DCG snapshot I generated earlier; both used a green background to make it easier to mask while editing in Photoshop:
