In a forum situation, it is very understandable if people write,

"lulz, u knowz u cant do it, cuz you sux0rz"

that it would agitate others.

However, if you are angered by the following...

"Me thinks that this ep was quite entertaining"

I would take issue with that.

It's like when people say "I did good" compared to "I did well," at least to me. This forum is not an English class, this forum is a place to enjoy yourselves by introducing your opinions and discussing them. As long as you're able to understand others without any real extra effort, I think the writing is fine.

If you are of the writing caliber of James Joyce, I don't care about you anymore than the person who barely knows English. To me, it is the thought in the sentence that counts.

I actually really dislike that languages over complicate themselves. Rules in English like "don't use the same verb repeatedly" makes me cringe. Why can't we simply express ourselves in the simplest way possible?
