I voted for Yagami Souichiro; he is the only one left among those listed who I could imagine calling "a favorite character," for being rational, believable, and standing up for his moral view no matter the cost to himself.
A few of the characters I would have given consideration are missing, especially considering the presence of a bit character like Matt... Aizawa in particular, who has been present thoughout the whole series and more prominent in the last few episodes. Mogi and Ide also, and perhaps Lester, Gevanni, Ridner; maybe Demegawa.
