her friends all died. Actually, I am glad that Sedi (the guy that had a crush on Sara) is now gone. Because I found his voice annoying. I am also glad that they give Sara a haircut in ep. 2. Her haircut in ep 1 is very ugly IMO.

As for ep.2, I agree that it gives vibes of Stellvia, but this show seems to be darker.

One question though, shouldn't the authorities take Sara in and interrogate her about her brother? Even if they didn't know it was her brother back then, they should still question her about the incident. Hmm...perhaps, she escaped right after and changed her identity. In that case, how did she join the new military school? Won't they do a background check on her? Or maybe she faked her background as well?

She did change her identity before she joined the military, most likely. Her new name is 'Sara Cruz' or something like that. It's pretty clear that she purposely changed it to avoid to be investigated or even persecuted since her brother became a sort of space criminal.
