Xemnas has mentioned himself that he has viewed Xion as Ven as well, and being the Nobody of Xehanort, means that in the past Xehanort and his assistants most likely confronted Ven at some point of time.

And considering Xion was a replica infused with memories of Sora, this pretty much screams "Ven has a huge connection with Sora".

hmm interesting. really interesting. This is beginning to make Birth by Sleep quite the prequel game that will answer everyone's questions throughout Kingdom Hearts.

Kinda weird. those five probably saw Xion as Ven as well, since they were Xehanort's assistants. Seeing their old enemy must have felt pretty weird for them. But we don't know if Xehanort was really the enemy in Birth By Sleep. In the special trailers that I saw, seems like Xehanort (if thats the old guy) was talking to Ven. Not as an enemy though....

All merely speculation though.
hahaha I'm back to being a huge fan of Kingdom Hearts. Can't stop talking about the upcoming events in Birth By Sleep. hahahah
