If I actually cared enough, then yes, I'd go by official statements from Toei or investigate MAL's claims further. But again, it's over the episode count for DB Kai, and this is all very silly and inconsequential.

I'm not making a big deal out of this
. I'm just saying that one shouldn't post unconfirmed information since that can mislead a lot of people. For example, there are some that already believe Kai will end after the Freeza saga just because of that false 50 episode count. People should be informed of the correct things so as to avoid any confusion, that's all.
